Before you ring
Thinking of a Schwartzhund puppy?
- It starts with a conversation, not a price list. I won't quote prices, hold puppies or take names on a first phone call — please read this site first, then ring between 6:00pm and 8:30pm.
- You will be interviewed as much as we are. I breed only a handful of litters, and only to improve my lines — expect questions about your home, your yard, your hours and your experience with large dogs.
- A Rottweiler is not for everyone. Apartments and small courtyards without secure fencing, long days alone in a backyard, and no time for training are all deal-breakers, no matter how sincere the call.
- Puppies are not off the shelf. Relationships are built long before a litter arrives — being in the market for a puppy right now doesn't mean one is available right now.
- Our dogs are not commodities. Every litter is deeply personal — as I write this, I'm going through the expensive process of progesterone testing Missi to breed her to our precious Moe, who passed in 2017. I breed for me, and to share this amazing breed with those who prove their worthiness to own one.

The Schwartzhund prefix was established in 1994, but the love came first — Rottweilers have been part of this home since 1987. Every litter planned here starts with the same question: does this pairing improve the breed?
That means health-tested parents, honest pedigrees, dogs shown and worked in ANKC conformation and training, and puppies raised underfoot in the house rather than in a run. Over 40 years of learning in the canine world sits behind every decision.

History Made
Maverick became the first Rottweiler in Australia to receive a C.A.C.I.B. and to gain the C.I.B. title.

Aust Grand Ch, CIB, A2O Ch (FCI Asia, Africa & Oceania) Schwartzhund Taylors Top Gun (AI) is the highest awarded — and most special — dog this kennel has ever campaigned. Best in Group at the 2022 Royal Adelaide Show, the first Rottweiler in Australia to be awarded a C.A.C.I.B. and the first to gain the C.I.B. title. He will always have a page of his own here.
